As a DevOps Engineer in the Data Capabilities team, you will collaborate with business analysts to understand and address the data processing needs of our product teams, identifying opportunities for optimization, automation ensuring robustness and scalability of data processes. You will also ensure adherence to architectural principles, governance policies, and best practices, maintaining high standards for data quality, security, and compliance. Your proactive approach will help our data teams deliver high-quality solutions efficiently and effectively.

As the volume of data and the number of use cases on our data platform continue to expand, the opportunities for automation and standardization in data management, governance, and processing are growing exponentially. It is our responsibility to introduce and govern best practices, streamline processes around data usage, and provide technical solutions to reduce the time to market for data solutions.

For this role the team is looking for someone with senior-level cloud and software engineering skills as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills. Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Educational: Bachelor’s degree (preferably a Master’s) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
• Experience: At least five years of demonstrated experience in working with data, as a (software) engineer;Programming
• Skills: Proficiency in C#, .Net. Interest in Python, PySpark and Databricks. Familiar with SOLID principles and behavior driven design and test automation;
• Technical Knowledge: Experience with DevOps practices and Azure or other cloud platforms, as well as proficiency in using both SQL and NoSQL databases;
• Communication: Highly developed communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Great interpersonal skills;Teamwork and Leadership: Self-motivated, well-organized team player with the ability to coach junior developers and contribute to a high-performing team;
• Agile Methodology: Experience working in an (SAFe)
• Agile environment;
• Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly grasp complex problems and pick up new frameworks and tools;Interest in Financial Markets: Clear interest in financial markets and the responsible investment domain;
• Financial Data: Experience working with financial data, (semi) structured and unstructured data.
