Triodos is looking for a Senior Secure Programming Specialist. This is a temporary role untill the end of this year which can be extended after that period.

We are looking for a Secure Programming Specialist to support the Software Solutions department in strengthening traceability and verifiability of secure coding practices. This assignment is driven by increasing internal and external requirements.

Assignment
The specialist will analyze operational processes and CI (/CD) pipelines, identify and document current secure coding practices, make the current and desired way of working transparent, and propose pragmatic improvements. The role also includes alignment with internal stakeholders
and clear communication of practical guidance to engineering teams.

Key deliverables

• Secure coding practices in the SDLC inventoried and documented
• Current and desired way of working made transparent in a gap analysis
• Improvement opportunities are identified and prioritized in alignment with risk and security stakeholders
• Practical guidance communicated to engineering teams via intranet and Guilds
• Evidence package prepared for internal and external review

Profile

• Experience with secure coding and software engineering and and enhancing a SDLC
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines
• Strong communication skills, need to be able to convince senior management
• Need to be able to understand both technical software devs/architects, and able to translate needs to the rest of the business
• Pragmatic, hands-on, and able to navigate complexity
• Experience in regulated environments
• English required, Dutch preferred

Preferred

• Experience in financial services
• Experience in organizations that develop core systems in-house

Reporting line
Reports to the Team Lead Software Architecture and works closely with the Technical Security Officer, software architects, and tech leads.

Practical detailse

• Duration: up to 6 months
• Workload: 32–36 hours per week
• Work model: hybrid, with 2 days per week on-site in the central Netherlands
• Interviews 18–20 august
• Start – 15 sept pref.

• A candidate should be submitted exclusively to Magnit – Triodos, MAX of TWO candidates per Supplier;
